The Dawaa committee plays an important role in spreading Islam by inviting non-muslims to the center and presenting Islamic lectures which introduce the principles of Islam. The Dawaa Committee provides a full package of materials which include copies of the meaning translation of the holy Qur’an in English or Spanish language.
The Dawaa Activities Consists of:
The Weekly Dawaa Program:
The center holds weekly lectures every Sunday by inviting the new and non-Muslims who interested in learning about Islam among the neighbors, friends, co-workers, and classmates. The center welcomes many religious studies students from the universities, who are interested on conducting research about Islam.
The Monthly Dawaa Program:
The center invites various religious believers under the banner of (Meet Your Muslim Neighbors) to introduce them to the principles, values, and tolerances of Islam; and providing them with booklets, brochures, and copy of the translation of the holy Qur’an and then inviting the attendees to share food with the Muslim community.
The Annual Dawaa Program:
The center hosts annually one of the largest congregation of other religious believers (Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, ete.) from all over US states to educate them about Islam .
The center accepts invitations from Non-Muslims to educate them about Islam at many different locations, such as churches, schools, colleges, universities, student events, and clubs.
Dawaa Program for Inmates:
ICG arranges Islamic lectures with prisons management to provide inmates with copies of the holy Qur’an, Dawaa books, and calendar for prayers time and Ramadan schedule.
By the grace of Allah, then the dedication of Dawaa committee, about 360 person converted to Islam since 1994. ICG is responsible for caring, educating and urging them to practice Islam correctly.
